Shark: “Ahoy me hearties” is not exactly an appropriate opening statement for something new and cool and interesting that we want people to be excited about, and that’s the first thing that popped into my head. Unless the people reading this are pirates or pirate enthusiasts. Then we might get some excitement.
PR Panda: We can introduce ourselves any way we want. It is, after all, OUR blog. But then again, maybe pirates can somehow coexist with sharks and pandas. Though I assure you, there will be no plank walking here. Or planking for that matter. Plankton? Not sure about that…
As you may be able to infer from the two different paragraphs above, there are two of us battling for captain’s spot at the keyboard at Blog Dragon. We have Steven, known as PR Panda, and Audax, occasionally referred to as Srs. Biznis Shark. Steven enjoys eating bamboo, movies, video games, comic books, community contests, and tacos. Audax leans more towards Bad Dragon folklore, sushi all the time, story building in the BD world, product writing, and needing a bigger boat.
We also have one DevilDoge that’s responsible for biting the blog layout into shape. If this looks awful, you may blame him by Tweeting to @DevilDogeBD. He can occasionally be found chasing squirrels, climbing mountains, singing the praises of hot sauce, and barking obnoxiously. He’s also the one to go too if there are any technical problems with the blog, if you wish to offer content to the blog as a guest poster, or request a guest post on your blog. We really want to get out there!
Steven does Public Relations, Marketing, and Social Media for Bad Dragon Enterprises Inc. He has been with the company since September of 2014, and enjoys working in such a nurturing and creative environment. In his offtime he is a husband, father, and college student with a love for Mexican food and 80’s stuff like Thundercats, neon, and synthesizers.
Audax comes from a retail and public service background, and currently provides support for Customer Service, contributes to product writing, and assists with written marketing materials here at Bad Dragon. They’ve been around Bad Dragon since 2011, and moved across the country to join the team on-site in January 2013. In their spare time, they’re enthusiastic about food, immerse themselves in Final Fantasy XIV (Dark Knight forever, Balmung represent!), and dabble in creative writing.
Dasa DevilDoge has a varied background in many industries, but primarily focuses on the technical aspects of this blog, marketing, and market research as well as other projects assigned to him. He has worked with Bad Dragon since 2013, moving from California desert to the Phoenix desert, without much issue as he is clearly a glutton for punishment and believes that cold weather will cause him to fall apart. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors very much, from hiking to mountain biking to various shooting sports. He also has a big place in his heart for Battletech / Mechwarrior, as well as various Sci-Fi anythings.
We’re all very excited to be along for the ride, and hope that you’ll have a great time during our travels together. Feel free to give us a shout or introduce yourself either in the comments below or at any of our Twitter accounts!
